Not sure. I would visit and speak to the Geek Squad to answer this question. I know they are trying to make it so that people can't share internet anymore because we used to be able to share with a neighbor across the street even 18 years ago! So either the signal is not as good anymore or it's being limited by our providers to sell more internet right? That's business!

It should get at least half of the router's bandwidth to function properly. Also, it's not designed for outdoor use. You might want to consider getting your own router instead.
