“Hi, is the eithernet a in or a out? Where i want to put the extender is out of the routers range so i wanted to run a eithernet cable and plug it in directly to the extender. I was wandering if this would work and if so will i get strong signal?”

• Your better choice would be get another router assuming you have an Ethernet plug in that location. You could tether the extender with the Ethernet cable as described, it's just a bit messy
