“I have an RCA tablet that has a USB port on it. It does not connect to a 5 Ghz WiFi band. Could I use something like this on my Tablet? Would it be a Plug and Play or are there software drivers?”

I'm not sure about the 5G but the device is plug and play. It works well on my baby laptop.

It would need to be a Windows Tablet for this to work as the drivers are configured for Windows and Mac OS.

No, HazMatt. The Linksys AC Dual-Band Wireless-AC600 USB Adapter is designed to be used on PCs or laptops only. It is not designed to be used on tablets.
