I just looked on my package. As long as you have a AC router, which you may already have to get the best performance. Should not need anything else. Check with Linksys 1 800 326 7114. Next Gen AC Max Stream AC600 Wi-Fi Micro Adapter. I am sure backward compatible with N G etc. I have the number for you to call to make sure you have the right information Even the model number.

Maybe a wifi router and internet service if you are not using an existing hotspot. Otherwise should be good to go with just this.

There's no need to get anything else, Fpsgamer. Once the adapter is installed, all you have to do is to connect it your wireless network.

it s/b all you need. The range of the wifi seems to be less that the range on my laptop's internal wifi.
