• I have one of the three connected directly to the cable modem. The other two satellites are only powered and communicate wirelessly with the one connected to the base

• Hi, Chief. If you have an existing modem, then the Linksys WHW0103 will work as your router. Thus, one of the node should act as a parent node, and the other two nodes as child nodes.
