• You do not need an existing WiFi to use the Velop system. You will need high speed internet such as cable or dsl.

• No, this is a WiFi solution. You need to have a separate modem providing internet access if you want this to access the internet.

• No you do not need to currently have WIFI. If you do, you would end up replacing it with the VELOP system. Though if you have Internet already by a provider and they have supplied you with a modem, they normally setup WIFI too. Otherwise, you have to be hardwired into the modem's switch ports directly.
