“Struggling I feel like they should've been better instructions I bought the two pack velop. I have it set up my question is does one of the units need to remain hardwired to the Comcast Xfinity box? Or can I reposition it to another location ?”

Yes one of the nod should be hardwire to your modem box
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should go out of the comcast modem into the velop node. If you need something direct wired to Ethernet you can use the second port on that node, like to a desk top or laptop. Then follow the set up on the app..proceed to the next node and so on.

This is the node that will actually project and provide internet to the remaining nodes you place around your house. You can expand Velop up to, I believe, 12 nodes. So, if you're having a weaker connection in some areas, you can add more nodes down the line to the system to make it larger and stronger.

The second unit can be placed anywhere as it only needs power. The app on your cellphone will tell you where to place each unit after the first one so it can be sure that you have full wireless coverage in your home, each node covers 2000 sq ft, so each node should be on a different level in your home, this ensures whole home coverage, your 2 unit system will work up to 4000 sq ft, if it is larger you will need another node, which can be purchased separately.
