• The main Velop node connects to your cable modem and then any additional nodes will pair with the system. It is like having 3 routers but only one hardwired to your cable modem. Great speed and they have dedicated support for this model.

• Yes, the first Velop node you connect to your modem functions as a router. The additional nodes (children) connect back to the parent node or through one another to provide coverage throughout your home.
