I would not consider the Orbit, as I already have Alexa (several styles) in the home. I don't feel it's necessary to have it as a built in component. It might be a nice thing, if you do not already have the Alexa. Consider the cost in your decision.

Looked at both especially reviews. Saw that every negative review for Velop had a Linksys tech support response. Reviews for Orbi almost universally complained about tech support. Sure enough had an issue with setup due to ISP modem and tech support resolved on first call. Works great since. Prefer Velop because any unit can be the main unit attached to ISP, and if one has issues either of the other two can still be used as main unit. Concerned about master/satellite approach Orbi uses. Redundancy is why Velop more expensive probably, so look for sale.
