• Yes, we recommend disabling it as keeping the SSID of the gateway may affect the seamless roaming of the Velop system, Spudman.

• Nope all you have to do is plug this thin into your modem and sync them up with the app nothing has to be removed just plug one of these in with the Ethernet cable and watch the magic happen

• No you don't have to. Unless you plan on using the same ssid name. Then you have to disable it or change the name on the service provider modem.
