• Yes, it will be perfect for your network, Jfried; just make sure that your modem supports ethernet connection for the Linksys Velop to work with it.

• The Velop has 1GB uplink connection throughput. Depending on your speed specifically, fiber, cable, dsl, etc. shouldn’t be an issue as this is just the router, not the modem.
