• I don’t think you can use it as a direct replacement, I have FioS as well and have this plugged into my FioS router. Each node has 4 Ethernet ports and a USB port. I have both of my wired connections (PC and a networked Printer) plugged into the parent node and I’ve turned off all WiFi on the FioS router so the only connections go through the Linksys system and then into the FioS router and so far working great.

• I talked to verizon about this device , they said I can replace my router with it( my router is from verizon fios,model: arris nvg468mq), not sure it is true or not,

• Hi, toro. The Velop system is not designed to replace a gateway, but you can connect the Velop system to the gateway and extend its Wi-Fi coverage.
