• A:Answer One must hold the volume rocker switch down for a few seconds. For me it took longer than expected. I would say at least 3 to 4 seconds. Each level has a corresponding beep. I.e. 1 beep - level 1, etcetera. I believe each mode is described on their website. I’m still learning myself.

• A:Answer They don't use an app. they are designed for seniors who don't have, don't like to use ,or have trouble using apps on a smart phone. Everything is done with buttons on the hearing aids.
