A:AnswerI do not believe this phone is "carrier specific". I bought it for my mom and she is using it on Verizon. They set it up on Verizon at the store. She was on Verizon on her old phone before we purchased this phone.
A:AnswerGreat question. The Jitterbug Flip 2 phone uses Wi-Fi for the built in Alexa feature and it does not give access to the Internet. The phone can have a usb cable connected. The Jitterbug Flip 2 phone is unlocked per nationwide standards, but we cannot control which carriers choose to accept or activate our phones. The Jitterbug phones were specifically designed to work on the Lively network which is powered by the nation’s largest and most dependable reliable wireless network. To enjoy exclusive features that are only available on the Lively network, activate with Lively by phone or on the Lively website. Lively has a variety of plans with data so you can choose the one that works best for you.
A:AnswerThe only way I could do it was to put a mini SD card in the other flip phone, copy it to a computer, change its format to csv, and then semi-manually upload it to the lively website. I was unable to copy it directly from the SD card.
A:AnswerHi Tess, we would like to thank you for your interest in Lively. Our rate plans can be viewed on our website, www.lively.com. A:AnswerThe answer is No! I tried this for my mother after she dropped & broke her flip phone through her Verizon contract. Took it directly to Verizon after purchasing and they tried to activate because they couldn’t see why not, because it’s also through Verizon, but they could not. It’s somehow a totally different prepay Verizon set up? You’re stuck with the Lively prepay that is carried w/ Verizon.
A:AnswerThank you for your question. The Lively Flip phone can only send a text message to one contact at a time and does not have the option to send group messages.

A:AnswerWe had this same problem. Our newer iPhones would not connect with my mom's Lively Flip. We called tech support and had her added to the list for the tech update (we waited almost 2 weeks for the update). After the update was completed, we had no problems with the connection. I hope this helps!
A:AnswerHi Tim, we have several Text/Picture plans available with or without a Health and Safety plan. Currently our lowest plan is 500 Text/Picture messages for $3.00. You can view all of our rate plans and costs on our web page.
