I have the same problem. I need to move here and move there. It should have been developed to be much easier. The instruction book is no help as whomever wrote the book is not over 50 -- that's for sure. Interesting how you market your phone those 55+ -- and then you have a 20-year-old techy write the instruction book!! I would be interested to hear a short more normal way to delete also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a glitch in the phone's firmware. Certain contacts simply will NOT delete, regardless of what you try. After trying to make this work for my father-in-law for several months, I agree with the other comments posted here...this phone is NOT simple and easy to use for the elderly. I do NOT recommend it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do NOT want this phone. It is SO confusing to use. Definitely NOT for seniors. I want to return it & get a refund. I have had TWO different chargers & neither work. Nor does the car charger.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We are so glad you asked. In order to delete a contact, you must select the contact in your phonebook by pressing OK. The number will populate on the screen. Select, Edit Contact and press OK, continue to press the down arrow until you reach Delete This Contact. Press OK. The phone will then ask, Are you sure you want to delete this contact? Select. OK to Delete the Contact.
