- Answer You can always keep the same phone number when switching providers, even from a land line. Any prepaid amounts and minutes you have remaining on your existing service should be used up before switching, those won't transfer to this or any other cell phone provider that I'm aware of.

QuestionAnswering phone calls with a swipe up is very difficult and non intuitive for advanced seniors. Is there a way to Tap a button to pick up a call? She gets frustrated and has stopped trying to answer the phone.

- Answer Unfortunately no. We tried several different ways of answering his phone. The only way is swiping up. My husband says it is kind of like pushing your domino in place during a game of dominoes. LOL I hoped this helped.

- Answer I don't think you can use the phone without first activating it through GreatCall. Existing phone number can be ported to the JitterbugSmart 2 phone. I purchased Jitterbug Smart 2 at Best Buy as a replacement phone was needed immediately. If you can wait, 25% specials are advertised periodically.
