Is this headset also compatible with the PS3? null

It is 100% compatible to receive HDMI video & audio on PS3 + mostly any system that has a native HDMI output to plug into the XBOX HDMI port on the back of the A50 X base station. For PS3 specifically, you can set audio to HDMI & Linear PCM 2.0 in its options. Game chat mix & microphone compatibility will most likely be completely nonfunctional however without it's USB connectivity.

The Astro A50 X is designed for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC/Mac and is not typically listed as compatible with the older PS3.
