• I'm not sure how you would get this to work as it looks to be all one piece? I have my iPad Pro 9.7 in a Belkin iPad Air 2 Ultimate Keyboard case which allows me to remove the actual iPad from the keyboard and the smart connector is exposed so it works. Good luck

• Yes you must take your iPad out of the create case in order to dock it in the stand.
