A:AnswerYes. It will work. Quad core is just a measure of the ability of the cpu to process multiple things in parallel. Dual core cpus have two cores while quad core cpus have 4 cores. They can do more stuff faster.
It doesn’t affect the working of the camera itself. As long as the camera is compatible with your operating system, it should be fine.
A:AnswerYes this should perform much better than a built-in cam for low light and overall quality of image. Once you plug this in you would simply go to windows settings and tell it which camera and microphone to use as default then your programs might have an option to select which camera.

A:AnswerI use mine on Windows 10. It is advertised to work with OS and expect it is compatible. Uses Standard USB, so you will need a hub or conversion cable to plug into Mac connection. It works perfectly - clips to top of monitor or can stand on flat surface.
A:AnswerAs long as your operating system sees it as two devices...a camera and a microphone then yes. Windows 10 is able to use it as a microphone. I haven't tried it on any other OS though.
