• Yes just know you can't use it for multiple programs at once (for instance you can't use its microphone for Skype and the stream you have to pick one) other than that it's a high quality web cam (and I suggest if you get this to turn the face following fewture off if weirds people out while you're streaming)

• Yes, I have used it on twitch and youtube, my favorite recording software is OBS, it will work very well.
