• This is a plug and play camera. There is no on or off switch for this camera turns on automatically when plugged in and this is chosen as the source camera.

• Unfortunately, the C920s doesn't have an on/off switch. When the webcam is in use, you will see a green light by the lens. When the webcam is not in use, the green light will turn off. The plus side to the C920s, is that it comes with a lens cover. This way, if you're worried it's still on, you can flip the cover closed. Otherwise, you can unplug it from your computer. When you close a program that uses your webcam, it will automatically turn the webcam off.
