“Does the Camera have to be plugged into the laptop or can I plug it into the USB ports on the Monitor?”

• The C920S Webcam is designed to be connected to your PC with USB. If your monitor USB works as a pass-through to your laptop it should work, but it would depend on the monitor.

• If your monitor is connected to your PC/Laptop via a USB cable, then you can plug it into the monitor or the PC/Laptop with no problems. Typically, if you have a monitor with a USB, you should see 3 cables, power, image source like VGA, and the USB cable. If you're monitor is not connected to your device, you will need to connect it too the PC/Laptop.
