Hey there Rich. The clip on the C920S is designed to be universal, so you should have no problem fitting it onto your monitor rather than a laptop screen.

It should be able to. I have mine attached to about a 1” thick monitor. It basically sits on top of it and has a stabilizing arm in the back that’s rubberized
