• You can only clip on top as it relies on gravity and friction. But i’m sure if you get some double sided tape you could put it on the side of your monitor

• Hello Sharon. The C920s has a clip that will allow you to rest the camera on top of a monitor, but it doesn't actually attach to it. It will not be tight enough to hold the camera sideways on the side of the monitor. It does have a 1/4 inch mount on the bottom, so you can attach it to a tripod or other stand and then turn it sideways. Turning the image 90 degrees would have to be done in whatever program you were using on your computer.
