Hello Heat305, The Logitech C920s webcam does have an indicator light for when it is active. There is no mute button on the webcam itself. All sound settings are controlled through the device that the C920s webcam is connected to. I recommend downloading the Logitech “Capture” software to get the most out of this webcam.
