• A webcam only has to deal with (relatively) a very small amount of data, making any USB port viable.

• Hey there. I did some digging and it turns out it is USB 3.0 ready which means it can be connected to a USB 3.0 port but you won't get the USB 3.0 bandwidth since it uses a USB 2.0 protocol. Hope this helps! -Weston from Logitech
