Hello Rich! We usually recommend people to use a headset along with any webcam for optimal sound quality, but if you have the sound of the person you're speaking to coming out of the speakers, which are usually positioned lower than your monitor, and then the webcam sitting on top of your monitor, you should be good to go without any feedback issues. I wouldn't blast the sound of the speakers too loud, but normal sound level should be ok.
