“Would this system work for a conference call/virtual meeting with 8-10 people? Could the mic be in the center of the room and pick up people's audio?”

I used it just for that and yes it’s very great for meetings. I did use my own noise canceling mic so I’m not too sure on how the mic on the webcam sounds

I would recommend taking a look at the Yeti microphones, this way you can place the microphone where you please and it will pick up people's audio. - Maggie from Logitech
