• No. The holding mechanism is designed for sitting atop a monitor.

• Hello, the mount that comes with this webcam is meant to sit on the top of a monitor or to be put on the tripod that comes with it. It does have threading on the bottom so you can screw it to a different mount that could sit in the side of your monitor. It just does not come with it in the box.
