“Will this system alert my cellphone immediately when it detects someone?”

• No. It took about 45 seconds to receive the alert and about a minute and a half to pull up the view. Completely useless to me because of that. I switched to Ring Floodlights. They are immediate and the clarity is absolutely amazing.

• It will alert your cellphone, but in my experience it takes a good 20 seconds at least before I got notification of activity or a person in a room. I've tested this for about 2 weeks now. It's definitely gotten better than the first day it was released, but the nest cam IQ I have set up beside it alerts me a lot quicker than this one does.

• it will alert your iPhone through the Home app and notifications. This is presuming you are using HomeKit on an iPhone and have updated the firmware. Read the review before making your decision.
