• Hello, the Crayon will only work with iPads that have Apple Pencil support. The iPad Air 2 does not support the Crayon/Apple Pencil.

• I have a 7th generation iPad, it works well with that iPad. Sorry, I don't have any info on if it works with an iPad Air 2.
