• You use the lightening charger cable the one that comes with the non iPad pro iPads. The cable has a small end that plugs into the crayon via the top.

• The pencil uses the standard Apple Lightning charging cable. There is no way to attach the pencil to an iPad.

• You flip off the cap at the top and there’s a lightning port underneath. Some cases have pencil storage. Some are specific to the Apple Pencil though.
