Does it have the wake/sleep feature ? null

The short time I had it, the screen would awaken when opened and sleep when closed.

It does, much like majority of other smart covers you'll find. The case cover itself that you fold over to go ahead and cover the screen has a magnet in it that will act as your sleep and wake feature.

YES. The iPad Pro will go to "Sleep Mode" when you close the cover and "Wake Up" when you open the cover. Very happy with this case, tried at least a dozen others and this was my favorite, adds very little extra weight to the iPad. If you have the Apple iPencil I would recommend the Speck StyleFolio case with the built-in pencil holder, holds pencil snugly inside case instead of outside. The Speck case is also sold by BestBuy.

Yes! Magnetic enclosure holds the cover intact.
