• It depends if the game has controller support. But from personal use, I do NOT recommend this for car driving, get a steering wheel or xbox controller.

• I have Win7 and it runs my Need For Speed games great. All buttons and stick functions are programmable (map-able) from within Need For Speed.

• I have used it for racing games and driving sims which allow advanced controller set-up. I program the twist grip for analog steering; works more like a steering wheel in a car. It will never replace an actual steering wheel but works well in a pinch. (I also have a Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel which I use for serious racing sims because it has foot pedals, paddle shifters, brake bias adjust, etc, etc.)
