• It's not necessary. The gaming pad is USB plug-and-play.

• The F310 doesn't need any software to get started, so it will not come with a CD installation disk. If you are wanting to, or have to, use it in DirectInput mode, you will want to download our Logitech Gaming Software here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024848953--Downloads-Gamepad-F310
