Does this folio have the sleep/wake function? TIA null

No, it does not. I even double checked that I had that function turned on in my iPad's settings, and it still doesn't work.

There is a lock key to lock the screen and unlock it again as needed (AKA sleep).

It does! The keyboard will enter sleep mode on its own and wake when you hit a button or use the trackpad.

Not for me, you have to wake up the device or use screen timeout

Yes! The Folio has a full row of function keys to do things like go home, adjust the screen brightness, adjust volume, playback controls, AND sleep-wake!

Hello greg! The Folio Touch Keyboard Case with Trackpad and Smart Connector does have a Power Saving Auto On/Off function; simply open Folio Touch to wake your iPad and keyboard, and close it to put them both to sleep.
