• They are romer g tactile switches, Less clicky than the blue but not too linear as well. Right in between both which i love

• No, they are very quiet and give off almost a dampened sound. I find them very pleasing and sounds like quality construction.

• I doubt it. I had avoided mechanical keyboards until checking out a larger version of this keyboard about a year ago, because I hated the super clicky-clacky nature of them all. Logitech's Romer-G mechanical keyboards have the wonderful quick and springy feeling of mechanical keyboards, without the extremely clicky-ness of them.
