- Answer I don't think you can, but if you just rotate it in the upright position, it will go into "mute" automatically.

- Answer ive tried it but the games dont seem to be using 7.1 in their sound. most of the newer gamea seem to be 3.1 or 5.1

QuestionIf i plug the headset into the ps4 via usb and not the controller. Will it work? And will the surround sound work. I dont want this headset if i cant use the 7.1 surround sound on my ps4. If i plug it into the controller it will only be in stereo.
