Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Cromwell! The G335 Wired Stereo Gaming Headset with Flip to Mute Microphone will work without any additional app on the Series X. Make sure to have the microphone flipped down horizontally to the "ON" position, and then you should be good to go. To test out your mic, press the Xbox button on your Series X Controller, at the top go to Parties & chats, Start a party by yourself, and you should see the green circle around your name light up when talking to the mic. Make sure to double check your audio settings too, when you press the Xbox button, at the bottom right, click on Audio & music to check those. And last but not least, some games will have a "push to talk" feature, so check your game menu to able/disable that feature to your preference. - Mathieu from Logitech
