The people I play with say that the mic quality is good. I can open a soda a foot away from the mic and it won't pick it up, so there in't background noise. I've never had any issues with sounding muffled or fuzzy.

Please try again later.The mic is great all you have to do is lift it no pushing buttons to put it on mute , yes my gamer buddies hear me well , I have to take it off my ear to hear my mom talking to me in the room unless she's yelling at me she is loud a mom thing lol, I don't know if it's better than the G733 . I honestly was going to buy that one my particular Best Buy didn't have it in stock ,would have had to wait 2 days and they only had it in White didn't give us an option of color so we went with the blackG533.
