• Yes, you can definitely use it for your mouse, that's what I use it for, and I've never had a problem with that.

• Yes. You absolutely can. You can use a USB wired or USB wireless mouse. I use the Logitech M720 Triathalon USB wireless mouse connected to the USB port of the keyboard.

• Yes you can use the USB for your mouse. Be aware that there are two plugs on the end of the cable going to the computer, one for the keyboard and one for the extra USB jack on the keyboard. It will require two ports on the computer for this to work. This feature was a prime reason I chose this keyboard.
