“Why does this have two USB plugs? Do I need to use both of them for the keyboard to work?”

• It has two usb connections becuase the keyboard itself has a usb connector builtin. So, while you take up two ports when you plug it in, youo "get one back". As far as I know, if you don't use the port on the keyboard, you son't need to plug both cables in.

• One of them is for the back light on the keyboard. If you don't need the keys backlit, don't use that usb plug.

• This keyboard has 2 usb connections. One is for the keyboard to pc. The second provides a usb connection on the keyboard itself if you want to plug in another device via usb.

• Yes, no. Keyboard will work with data end plugged in, but LEDs will not work and USB passthrough will not work.
