I don't think you can, but if you just rotate it in the upright position, it will go into "mute" automatically.

No you can not take the mic out. If you fold the mic up it will automatically mute which I think is the best part. Overall a great headset. 10/10

No. The mic is hinged though. You just fold it up.

No, You can just mute the mic. and not use it, but why would you want to remove it? If you only need headphones there are other type out there.
