“I have 2 g502’s both with the hero sensor but the one I bought more recently doesn’t have the braided cable the older one does. Any reason for this? Just curious.”

• Unfortunately they have since removed the braided cable to reduce the price of production.

• Might have been to save on build cost to keep the price down. Braided cables keep the cord from bending and exposing the wires. I think the one that isn’t braided would have some sort of prevention on the cord to keep it from doing that though.
