DPI settings and keybindings can be saved to the mouse and don't require software. More advanced settings like macros need software.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Onboard memory can be modified and I assume it can be saved on the mouse. The software does enable it to have a per application profiles but if you have no need for that and not use the software, I believe it does just default to the onboard memory configuration. The DPI shift button would act as a profile switching button in this mode and you can have 3 profiles stored on board IIRC.
