The keyboard doesn’t require two ports, one is for the on keyboard usb port, another one is actually for the keyboard, so there’s nothing to worry about.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried to answer this question previously, but my answer never got posted. You don't have to plug in both of the USB connectors on the end of your keyboard cable. One is for the keyboard and has a small symbol of a keyboard imprinted on it. That's the one you MUST plug in. The other connector is strictly for a USB pass-through port and not necessary for the keyboard to function. That connector has a standard USB symbol printed on it. You can probably use a splitter or HUB. If you do, make sure it's a quality product since your mouse and keyboard import are important.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You only need to use one of the two USB connectors on the end of the keyboard's cable. One is for the actual keyboard and has a small symbol of a keyboard printed on it. The other is strictly for a USB pass-through port so you can plug things into the USB port on the keyboard itself. That connector has the USB symbol imprinted on it. If you don't need this pass-through port feature, you don't need to plug this second USB connector in. The keyboard will function perfectly well without it. As to using a USB splitter, yes, that should work. Just be sure to get one that is a quality product because the input from your keyboard and mouse is critical. If you have a glitchy splitter, some of your input could be inconsistent. I would rather use one of the USB ports on the laptop strictly for the wireless mouse adapter. Use a hub or splitter on the other USB port for the keyboard. I hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only 1 of the USB ports is required for the keyboard to work. The other is for an extra USB port on the keyboard that can be used for hooking up other USB devices more easily to the keyboard rather than the back of the computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This keyboard has two USB cables. One is for the keyboard itself and the other is for the USB pass-through. You’ll still have two USB ports if you use both cables and hook up your wireless mouse to the back of the keyboard. So you won’t need to use splitter unless you need to attach more USB accessories.
