It very much would be able to be done using the Logitech gaming software, NOT the other one Logitech has imo. I think it's called g hub? You can set the mouse up much easier in the older (and still updated) software. Don't use the mouse storage and you can set it up to change when certain program windows are open/active.

Please try again later.If you download the Logitech software it let's you customize the buttons, and Autocad further let's you assign macros to those buttons for automation. The scroll wheel can be depressed to act as a middle mouse button as well so you can still take advantage of having a three button mouse even if you don't customize the buttons at all.
