“hey so i just brought one for my ps4 these headsets and like the headphone work to hear the other players but the mic isn’t working ?? i’ve looked it up online and most people are saying i need a usb /adapter,do i need it or how do i fix it ??”

It’s sounds as if headset is defective as you can hear people, but if mic isn’t working after you bring the mic piece down, then it’s unfortunately defective because It’s just a simple plug in headset through the 3.5 jack. I have the headset I would know! I don’t have a ps4 so I can’t confirm if a USB adapter is needed or not. Last thing I would do is do a mic test and plug it through your computer and see if the mic is detected when you plug into a laptop or desktop then you know if it’s truly defective or not.
