The USB dongle is plugged into whatever device you'd like to connect to that does not have its own built-in Bluetooth connectivity. The audio is entirely wireless with the USB and Bluetooth options; however, you can choose to use a 3.5mm audio cable, in which case it would be wired audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The headset has two 3.55mm ports. 1 is where the mic plugs into the headset and the other is for the 3.55mm audio cable. However, it has a usb-c port on the headset and comes with a long usb-c to usb-a cable that both charges the headset and can be used as the main audio cable if for some reason you didnt want to use the wireless or if the battery is dead, can be used while the battery is charging. Unless you donts have any available usb ports, I dont know why anyone would want to use the analog 3.55mm port.
