• The dongle is required for the light speed connection, however there is also Bluetooth available!

• Hi ARonNYC, since there's no way to connect both the G305 and the G915 to the same receiver at this time, the only option to be able to use both is to use a USB hub. You can use the G915 on Bluetooth, but if you're going to be gaming, it's best to use the Lightspeed USB receiver for the best no lag experience. Hope that helps. -N from Logitech
